18 months already? Are you sure?

This handsome little man has started nursery! Not sure how I feel about it, I admit I was a little sad dropping him off but it was nice to sit through sunday school without a squirmy kid! He on the other hand, could have cared less to be left. He found his friend Olivia and a bucket of cars and was set! I don't think he even knew what was going on!

My little boy is growing up too fast :(

Food+football+games=

Thanksgiving!! We stayed home this year for thanksgiving and had such a great day! My cousin Kristina and her husband Logan, and my brother Jeff, had also decided not to go anywhere for the break so we collaberated together and prepared a delicious dinner. It was wonderful! Just enough food to not feel overwhelmed by too many options, ate until we were FULL, picked in it throughout the day and still had leftovers when the day was over. It was perfect. At first I wasn't too sure about a thanksgiving dinner without a table, eating around the coffe table just didn't seem right to me, but then I realized we have done it for everything else, why should it be any different this time? It's how we live. And we like it :)
So here we are with our great meal around our little table! (what we need is some comfy little throw pillows to sit on;)
Jeff, Logan, and Parker getting ready for games.
Randy relaxing and enjoying the football games...and uh, peace to all of you...I guess :/ (not really sure, maybe you should ask him)
Parker also enjoying football, showing off his "touchdown"
And here we are with our game that lasted around two hours! Randy got creative and took an aerial shot of us.

It was such a fun day! A great day to kick off the holiday season. But lucky for us, it lasted longer than the one day! We had a weekend full of fun ( I just don't have any pictures to show). My sister Celeste came friday to spend the weekend with us and we met up in Idaho Falls with her and my other brother Bryant, his wife and daughter, for some shopping and a yummy lunch at Red Robin (which btw, has a gingerbread milkshake that is delish!). It was soo much fun to have four out of six of us siblings together, gatherings like this are few and far in between, and weekends just aren't long enough it seems! Come again everybody!

Mom's little helper

This week I started watching my friend's little boy, Fynch, while she goes back to work. He is the sweetest little baby, full of smiles and so much fun to watch! It's different having a 4 month old again, it makes Parker seem so much older, I feel like Parker made the transition from baby to toddler in one day! But he has been so good and helpful with Fynch (runs the diapers to the garbage for me:), and gets so excited when he comes over! It's an adjustment for me to see this new, older side of Parker but it's fun to watch as his personality comes out!
Parker thinks it's fun to lay down on the blanket with Fynch :)
Cute little buddies!
Parker's excitement when Fynch arrived this afternoon!

Again...

Yes, I have done another one! You are under no obligation to watch it though. But after the last one I thought, what would be funnier than doing this again only using a grandma and her grandkids? So here is my mom in a whole new light with her cute, monster grandkids!

We do the monster mash!

I saw this on my friend's blog and totally stole the idea from her! I thought it was hilarious! And for those of you who don't know my family, the extra faces in there are my two brothers :) And yes, we really do dance like that...all the time!

Parker's new buddy

Parker loves it when Uncle Jeff comes over! He gets soo excited to see him. Tonight Jeff was playing football on the xbox and Parker decided to climb on his lap and chat about the game. That's what I was originally trying to get a picture of but when Parker saw the camera he decided to cheese it up instead!

It's all fun and games 'til someone gets hurt...

As much fun as Randy's party was there was one downside. And that was the wasps. Horrible pesky things. Logan torched some just outside the door where we were sitting but unfortunately there were more...and Parker found them. Now, any mother (or father) understands what it's like to watch your child get shots and feel completely helpless as they cry, wishing there was something you could do to relieve their pain. Now take that feeling and multiply it by ten. That's what it feels like when your baby gets stung by a wasp. And not just one time, but FOUR. That's right. Four awful wasps decided to have a hay day with our poor child. Luckily Randy was right there and dove into the swarms to rescue him, getting stung once himself on the knee. Parker however, took it twice in the face and one on each hand. I think we all could have cried watching him cry and cry over the pain. And then again as each one swelled up. Luckily he doesn't appear to have allergic reactions to stings. The little guy is tough though, (alot tougher than me) and it wasn't long before he was smiling again.
Doesn't that make you hurt?

Party!!

This last friday was Randy's 27th birthday so to celebrate we had a little surprise party! Thanks to the help of my cousins we were able to pull off a great surprise! We were cutting it close a couple times and Randy nearly ruined the plans but thanks to some quick thinking and little fibs along the way he was totally shocked.

This is the yummy Girl Scout thin mint DQ blizzard cake with all 27 candles!

Playing bocce ball. If you haven't played it yet, you've got to try! It's a lot of fun!

Yes, you get to see me with my mad bocce skills!

These are the pictures of us just slumming around after our workout playing bocce, getting ourselves pumped for the next game, mormon bridge! It's basically our favorite game to play when we get together!
My cousin Heather and her husband Wayne.
And my other cousin Kristina with her husband Logan. They were the ones who helped with the planning (and lying) ;) And they were kind enough to host it at their place as well.

And me again, the lucky girl who gets to be married to the wonderful birthday boy!

We love you, Randy!!!
